Description

5-Pointed Star 4 inch can be sewn with a combination of hand or machine piecing, although I normally sew this small size by hand. Printing the shapes on fabric is much better than using templates and there are TWO methods of fussy cutting.

Please check this page again for updates under the tabs (above).

NEW Circle the Intersection

circle the intersection

Circle the Intersection

Every intersection in your 5-Pointed Stars 4 inch can be PERFECT when you use a simple hand piecing technique that I call circling the intersection.

It allows you to brag about your precise results as much as you like and be confident that your friends will be impressed.

crosshairs from Inklingo

Circling the Intersection highlights the advantages of having crosshairs to mark the seam endings.

There is a good article (with music!) and a short video that shows how to pass the needle through the crosshairs one pair of seam allowances at a time, all the way around, and then continue along the seam as usual.

I think you will love this simple, satisfying method. Article with video.

The wonderful sharp points are complimented so perfectly by the curves! Love, love, love this collection. I wish I could give it multiples of 5 stars!!!
