MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Welcome to the Electric Quilt Christmas Countdown on the All About Inklingo blog.

There are FOUR Christmas presents—and everyone gets at least one!
*
ONE . . . FREE EQ7 PROJECT FOR EVERYONE
“Inklingo Christmas Rings” Downloadable Electric Quilt Project File
for Inklingo Double Wedding Ring.
Download from the EQ blog.
The Inklingo Double Wedding Ring Design Book is at least a $20 value but it is free for the next two weeks. Merry Christmas!
Normally the design book is free when you buy Inklingo DWR shapes to print on fabric but if you order between now and December 31, you can download the design book free.
Design with a variety of Inklingo arcs!*
- an arc that is all one piece
- an arc with one piece plus two arc ends
- an arc with four pieces plus two arc ends
- an arc with 8 pieces plus two arc ends
- Pickle Dish
These blocks are included in another free EQ7 project file under the EQ tab (above).
NOTE My EQ blocks are adequate for design purposes, but would not be accurate for templates. I use Inklingo to print the shapes on fabric, so I do not worry about ultra-precision when I design in EQ.
The Inklingo Double Wedding Ring Design Book does not include the shapes to print on fabric, but it does include everything you need to know to Design, Print, Cut and Sew a Double Wedding Ring quilt:
- notes about all the variations
- fabric selection
- rotary cutting tips
- strategies for fussy cutting
- design notes AND how to count the shapes
- fabric requirements for many quilt sizes
- hand piecing instructions
- machine piecing instructions, including my favorite precision tips
- detailed, step-by-step assembly instructions
- an innovative pressing guide
- pressing instructions that might surprise you, but make your quilt look its best
- notes about finishing with a straight or curved edge
- worksheets
There are sample pages of the design book on the website.
The design book works even if you don’t have EQ7. Of course, it is even more fun with EQ.
If you are an Inklingo quilter, you already know how much faster and easier it is to sew Double Wedding Ring with Inklingo than it was in the olden days with templates!
50 designs in only 2 minutes! Click on the video to play.
The shapes for all of the designs in the video can be printed on fabric with Inklingo!
No matter how complicated your EQ DWR design looks, you can get beautiful results with the cutting and stitching lines printed on the fabric with Inklingo.
Confidence. A wonderful thing. Let your artistic vision come to life!

You can sew Double Wedding Ring by hand or by machine or a bit of both.

25 Signs YOU are an Inklingo Quilter
Are you following Inklingo on Facebook?

Thank you for the giveaways. I have seen Inklingos in the past but have not tried them. I will have to examine them further and see how they might work for me.
following and hoping those beautiful FQ fly down to my home for the holidays. Oh My what I could do with them for next year, a table runner or three, some placemats a side table cover. & probably a few other ITH Ornaments. I’ll just bet some flying geese could look just fine in those great shades.
Love Inklingo and the accuracy! The DWR has been on “to do” list. Once I get the periwinkle done – I think that will be my next one… Thanks again for your generosity and Happy Holidays!
The first quilt I ever received was a double wedding ring. I still have it today, but it is nearly worn out in many places. I would love to make one myself to replace my worn out one. I feel confident I could do this with Inklingo. Wish me luck!
I am all for anything that makes quilting easier.
I love your give away. I have been wanting to try the patterns. Just downloaded one of the free ones to try during the holidays.
Love the blog and Inklingo. Would love to win this generous giveaway.
Thank you for the free pattern! I made an Inklingo king size DWR for a friend, it turned out lovely, and using Inklingo it was much easier to piece…now it’s time to make one for me!:-)
Interesting way to quilt.

Love your newsy letter, the free gifts and the chances to win goodies.
Still ‘playing’ with Inklingo, hope to get to more P & Q next year.

Thanks so much for the Christmas Countdown project file, it’ll be a fun project to make! Enjoying both your blog and your Facebook pages.
I’ve never made a DWR, but I think they are so beautiful!
Exciting contest. Thank you.
Thanks for the giveaway. Double Wedding ring has always been one of those someday quilts. Curves have always been a problem for me. By hand I’m ok ish, but by machine it’s just ugly. Maybe Inklingo will be better with all the lines to help keep everything lined up and in place.
Love all the different giveaways! They are all great. I need to download those two.
Thank you.
Love this idea and the fabrics.
Thank you for the design book offer! What a temptation looking at all the variations…how to choose?
OMG how I love red & green! Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I can just see those fabrics made into a lovely circular table centre with Christmas trees made from the greens with some gold embroidery on them. I could sit them in red tubs with tiny circles for red balls on them. I would use some lovely cream background that has ‘Ho! ho! ho! printed on it in a subtle print. Then I would bind with black & white stripe cut on the bias … maybe a cheeky santa print for the backing ……Lovely!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter.
Jessica
