COUNTDOWN TIP OF THE DAY

Did you know that fabric goes through a printer just like paper if you stabilize it with freezer paper?

You can test it out for yourself in the next few minutes.

WHY INKLINGO?

Printing on fabric makes the cutting and sewing more precise and faster.

Bonnie and I are working together this time to include more quilters.

Pearl in Massachusetts wrote:  “I just discovered Inklingo and I’m just thrilled to print my first templates. It was so easy. Thank you!”

Wise Irish Woman (long ago): You’ll never plough a field by turning it over in your mind.

Why not start now, so you are ready to print as soon as the first clue is revealed?

MONKEY’S COUNTDOWN THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

You could say that this hi-tech method actually returns us to our traditional roots, before paper piecing, acrylic templates/rulers, and other innovations. Thanks to Inklingo, you have lines on the fabric to guide the cutting and sewing, just like our quilting ancestors, and you can use scissors or a rotary cutter.

Even if you find it hard to rotary cut accurately, YOU can do Bonnie’s mysteries!

If you have been thinking about trying Inklingo, this is a perfect opportunity. Bonnie’s mystery is made for beginners.

  1. Yikes! I was stitching binding on another quilt last night when I was thinking about my four colors and which one will replace which one from Bonnie’s colors and thought to myself, “I need 5!” LOL, so I am not using 4 fabrics, I have to select yet another for a total of five! 9 days to go, and I have to go fabric shopping again, so much fun 🙂

  2. Counting down the day. Have all my material. Can’t wait. Wonder if this will interfere with work or (and most likely) will work interfere with my sewing. LOL

  3. I am with you Linda, counting down the days! I have three of my fabrics ready to go, a fourth will be arriving in the store today or tomorrow. I have decided to use just four fabrics (I am not that big of a scrap collector (yet), so decided to go with 4 fabrics. I also decided not to use the same color scheme as Bonnie, I will have the big reveal on my blog just as soon as the fourth fabric arrives! Looking forward to joining you and many more Inklingoists on this mystery!
