Making Hand Piecing More Fun!

I got the first idea for Inklingo when I was teaching hand piecing. Many quilters love the idea of a portable project but are discouraged by the time it takes to prepare the pieces. Inklingo makes it as easy as possible to mark and cut for hand piecing.
You already know a running stitch, but Monkey and I have a few “finger tips” that make it even more enjoyable.
A running stitch should be relaxing, so don’t imagine it’s more complicated than it is!

More than 300 Pieced Hexagon designs can be made with 2 Hexagon shape collections and 2 Diamond shape collections because the collections include the related shapes.
Buy matching “big and little” sizes as described under the other tab.
You can make dozens of designs with only one Inklingo diamond shape collection because most diamond shape collections include related triangles too.

To make all 300 designs, you need 16 different shapes. You have all 16 shapes when you buy 4 shape collections

The 300 Designs can be made with Inklingo in so many different sizes, that we describe the shapes as Big and Little for each Pieced Hexagon size.
GOOD NEWS You can start with only one shape collection and add the others later, there are dozens of designs you can make with just a “Big Diamond” shape collection, as shown in the Video (Video tab) and as described below.

Some quilters sew Pieced Hexagons by machine and some combine hand and machine piecing in a hybrid. Some quilters sew entirely by hand for a wonderful portable project.

If you like pieced hexagons, do not think twice about buying this. You will never need another book.
It has everything you need for designing and planning your own quilt, for any technique, (even English Paper Piecing).
You will find 300+ pieced hexagon blocks in fabrics, line drawings to color yourself, actual size blocks in several sizes, and all the information about finding the right Inklingo shapes, sewing, pressing, etc. etc.
