This 1.5-inch Petal Add-On shape collection can be used to enhance a Grandmother’s Flower Garden (GFG) with 1.5-inch Hexagons. This size is wonderful for hand or machine piecing.
Hexagons are not just for quilters who enjoy English Paper Piecing (EPP) anymore! On the other hand, there are 8 Good Ways to Use Inklingo for EPP if that is the method you love.

This is an “add-on” shape collection. It only includes the shapes for petal hexagons. It is for quilters who already have the 60° Hexagon 1.5-inch shape collection and only need the two additional shapes to add Petals. The add-on was requested by Inklingo quilters when I recently introduced the 60° Hexagon 2.5-inch shape collection.

This design also uses the 60° Diamond 1.5-inch shape collection. The petal shapes have gentle curves that are easy to piece in this size (hand or machine) and add many excellent design possibilities.
It is much easier to print the shapes on fabric with Inklingo (TWO methods of fussy cutting) and sew with a running stitch.
