Remember the 25 Kaleidoscope Stars I printed with the new 60 Diamond 1.25 inch in yesterday’s blog article?
All I did was print 6 identical sheets of 25 diamonds with 1.25 inch sides.
That is fast and easy. (Top Ten Tutes)
I used the No Waste Fussy Cutting method.
I rotary cut rows, and then cut the diamonds into sets as described in the video for Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses.
Each one only takes 10 minutes to sew from start to finish.
Can you believe these all came from one fabric?
Since you asked: The selvage says Belle Fleur Too by Kings Road Fabrics www.kingsroadfabrics.com
I will add the others to an album on the Inklingo FaceBook page.
(Monkey and I love it when you like Inklingo on Facebook and on QuiltingHub. Thank you!)
This size is fast and easy to sew by hand. It’s like eating peanuts.
There is an article on QuiltingHub showing how to get perfect intersections on every star.
INTRO PRICE
If you think you might want to make some of these too, the new diamonds are at a very special intro price—but for a few days only!

To Jill, I haven’t had any luck finding that fabric yet, but will let you kno if I do. And to Linda, what beautiful stars!!!! I so want to make some! Have been looking for the printer that you recommended, but Office Depot had none!! Will have to go to amazon to order I guess!!
Linda, could you post a pic of the 25 on a display board or wall? I would love to see them all together!
If anyone finds this fabric can you let me know?

Thanks
I just love these fussy cut stars but I was curious if there is a quilt pattern somewhere which has instructions how to sew them into a quilt. Also would love to a picture of these stars in a finished quilt. Please post if you have any. Thanks a bunch.
Hi Rebecca,
I think I will probably use the setting for the Antique Star Quilt.
http://www.inklingo.com/blog/antique-diamond-star-quilt-02/
There are MANY different ways to set 6-pointed stars. Seven Sisters is a favorite. If you google “diamond quilt” or “star quilt” and similar terms you will find many images. You can use any design or pattern, but Inklingo makes the preparation and the sewing easier. Inklingo shape collections also include worksheets and info to help you determine how much fabric you need.

If you have any other questions, please ask. I am happy to help.

great job
Oh, my! We are all addicted right along with you, Linda. Kaleidoscope monsters have been created. Searching out fabulous florals and all kinds of different wild prints – in our stashes and at the quilt shops and devouring them all. Too fun!
They are marvelous!!! congratulations! I think the kaleidoscope stars became an addiction, but there is no way to stop, isn´t it?
I’m not surprised you need to print more – how could you possibly resist stitching them? They are each such wonderful little masterpieces!
I hope you get some stitching time out on the porch this week while the weather is still nice.
