When we added the Drunkard’s Trail last month, we showed you a few quilt designs, but there are many more.
My non-Inklingo “life” interfered and I forgot to show you these! Oops!
Drunkard’s Trail Quilt Designs
This one looks like trails to me. It could be a great race track for little cars!
Imagine if all those paths were made up of dozens of different yellow fabrics. Scrappy is always a fave.
Could those be flowers with a white picket fence? Shades of pink and purple with green?
The blocks are set on point with the Inklingo 6-inch On-Point shape collection. Isn’t it funny how this design requires the on-point triangles to make it look like a straight set?
There is no sashing, but the white space creates that effect. Hmmm. How does that work?
Two sizes, three colors. Do you see the smiling eyes? Very modern, and a fun design for kids.
More Drunkard’s Trail Quilt Designs
There are too many more!
I hope these designs and the Drunkard’s Trail Electric Quilt project file (free download for EQ5, EQ6, or EQ7) will help you map out a trail of your own.
There are other designs on the blog too (searchable).
Why would you wander down a Drunkard’s Trail?
- Simple shapes
- Exciting designs
- Cut on the lines with a rotary cutter or scissors
- Matching marks on the curves make them easy to sew
- 4 sizes that work together
- Drunkard’s Path Design Book
- Free Drunkard’s Trail Electric Quilt project file (for EQ5, EQ6, or EQ7)
- Monkey’s little movie!
Whatever you design, your Drunkard’s Trail will be easier to cut and sew with the lines printed on the fabric with Inklingo, don’t you think?
Thank you for visiting. I hope you are inspired to have a great weekend with fabric!
Linda & Monkey
Oh, my word! The first design is almost hypnotic! I specially like layout 6–the one with red ‘outline’–it makes me think of lava flows, and lots of hot colored fabrics. They are all very fun, though. Thank you for sharing so much fresh inspiration, Linda, and Monkey. 🙂
Hazle
These are wonderful Linda and Monkey, but you haven’t made it easier ,you have made it harder to decide.lol
Interesting how the “floral” design could look very traditional with the right choice of fabrics and the “smiling eyes” very contemporary.
Great inspiration for those who get this collection.
Wow! They all have the modern, graphic look I like so much. Impossible to pick a favorite!
Amazing”…….. As quilters, we sure are lucky to have so many choices!
