There is a new shape collection!
In fact, it’s been available for more than a week but this is the first time I am mentioning it. It did not seem right to announce something new when the tragedy of Hurricane Harvey was unfolding. It is heartbreaking.
You will see why I think this is a good time to announce, if you read to the end, okay?
When you print the shapes on fabric with Inklingo, curves are easier than ever before. These are laid out to be rotary cut and use fabric very efficiently.
The shapes are perfect for finishing the edges of a Clamshell quilt—and much more!
Here are just a few examples of the ways you can use these shapes.
These are fun!
With the whole Clamshells, every edge is curved. With half Clamshells, the longest edge is straight and easy by machine, but the effect is curvaceous.
The quarter circle has intriguing possibilities too.
This VIDEO on the Welcome to Inklingo page on the website explains how Inklingo works with your ordinary Inkjet printer.

DONATING TO THE RED CROSS
This new shape collection is on sale for $15 until September 10, 2017. If you donate at least $15 to the American Red Cross between September 3 and September 10 and let me know (linda @ www.inklingo.com), I will give you the Clamshell Edges 3.5 inch shape collection, FREE.
It’s a win-win. We will both get a good feeling for helping the survivors of Hurricane Harvey and you will have some lovely new shapes too.
Now you know why all my examples are RED.
We can hardly wait to see what you do with these shapes!

I love the optical illusion using these shapes. I am still working on my Passacaglia but I bought this shape set because I could not resist. I am amazed (again) at all the work you put into these sets, the multiple layouts and all the different shapes that come with this set. Thank you for offering these!
Thank you very much, Candy! I’m happy that you like it!
Wow – that third design is a fabulous optical illusion! I can’t stop looking at it so I think I may have to take a break from my ribbon flowers to play! I’d love to see the half clamshells for the 2″ and 2.5″ sizes.
Love the mystery of wondering what’s coming! You definitely know how to pique our interest!
The third example is quite the optical illusion. Many possibilities.
Can I use Inklingo with my laser printer. I do not have an inkjet
I am sorry but Inklingo will NOT work with a laser printer. This is covered in the FAQ under the Support tab on the website.
A laser printer uses toner, not ink, and it uses heat. If you put fabric and freezer paper into a laser printer it will probably ruin the printer because the plastic coating on the freezer paper will melt and create a mess that cannot be repaired.
There is information about printers in the FAQ under the Support & Goodies tab on the website.
Luckily, you can probably pick up a Canon Inkjet on sale for $30 – $50 and you can have more than one printer connected to your computer at the same time. Inklingo uses a tiny amount of ink, so if Inklingo is your primary use for the Inkjet, the ink will last a long time. I hope you can get an Inkjet and get started.
This is great news Linda. I’m always looking forward to seeing new shapes. Hope to see the same with the 2 and 2.5 clam shells too. You have been a great gift to me. Because of you, I have been able to accomplish and enjoy hand piecing the smallest patches.
