2006 – 2026: Girl, Print On Fabric Now

Corinne Bailey Rae’s first smash hit and Inklingo were both introduced in 2006. It was a great year!

Twenty years later, we’re both celebrating.

We’re celebrating 20 years of Inklingo by introducing the free Inklingo Quilt Studio for Windows, Mac, iPad, and Android tablets. And I’m singing along with Corinne because Inklingo is finally as easy to use as I’ve always wanted it to be.

No Adobe Reader.
Standard freezer paper sizes.
Print from an iPad. Brilliant!

20 Years of Inklingo

Monkey says, maybe you just need to hear Corinne Bailey Rae’s anthem to freedom and empowerment to start your next quilt now.

I love designing quilts and re-designing fabulous lyrics — for quilters.

Girl, Put Your Records On = Girl, print on fabric now

I’ve sprinkled in some links for everyone — whether it’s your first time printing on fabric or you have twenty years of experience already.

If you love designing quilts too, Inklingo gives you choices — fabric requirements, combo layouts, straight-grain options, better fussy cutting, and much more.

Another 20th Anniversary

Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae

And there’s one more wonderful coincidence. Corinne is celebrating the 20th anniversary of this song with a new children’s book. (No affiliation. I just love its message and the illustrations.)

Tens of thousands of quilters have already started printing on fabric with the free Diamond Triangle Square Shape Collection and the Studio. What are you waiting for?

Thank you for visiting!

Know a quilter who would sing along? Send her this link. 🙂

*“Three little birds” nods to Bob Marley’s song; “three fat quarters” means quilting cotton, of course.

  1. How fun!! I will be humming this song all day. And congratulations, Linda & Monkey, for 20 years in which Inklingo has only grown better, easier and more efficient. I love love love that I can print any fitting custom size piece of fabric on a standard Letter or A4 size sheet of freezer paper, with just resizing the pink box of the preview screen!

  2. Inklingo Quilt Studio makes Inklingo even better. The convenience of using Inklingo with a tablet is fabulous! Set the pressing station up near your printer, keep your tablet nearby and it’s so, so easy to print everything for a quilt in no time. Not to mention the wonderful pink printing box. That just makes it far too much fun!

    • Thank you, Cathi. I’m lucky to have my computer, cutting mat, ironing board, and printer all clustered together, but even I like using my iPad for Inklingo sometimes. I originally bought the iPad in 2013, when I we were trying to make this happen (and failed) but have mostly used it for audio books until now. You’re right about “the pink box.” It makes custom sizes easier than ever. I’m glad you are an Inklingo quilter! ❤️
