The first Inklingo NYB? ? ? Hmmmm. Let me think. . .
Yes, there is a new shape collection today!
New York Beauty can be used to create very exciting quilt layouts.
This setting is “on-point” and uses the triangles in the Inklingo On-Point 6 inch shape collection.
There are books and online images showing NYB blocks used in very creative ways.
There are ideas everywhere, including the Inklingo Sunflower Quilt Design Book.
COMBO LAYOUTS
One of many very cool things about sewing NYB with Inklingo is the COMBO layouts.
Combo # 1 allows you to print ALL of the shapes for one NYB on a sheet of fabric 8.5 x 12.5 with your ordinary Inkjet printer.
Combo layouts save fabric and save time, and you can cut with a rotary cutter or scissors—your choice! Of course, you can also print the shapes separately or fussy cut with Inklingo.
We love Inklingo Combo layouts so much we included 7 different ones for NYB!
Monkey and I chose 8 fabrics, so we could mix and match to make 8 NYB.
THE FIRST INKLINGO NYB?
Really? The first?
Maybe not. New York Beauty is actually a variation of Sunflower—which was introduced more than a year ago.
EVEN BETTER NEWS!
When you buy NYB, you also get the Sunflower Quilt Design Book for a nice round number—$0. (That’s zero.) Good deal, eh? (Details)
These new blocks can be used with the existing Inklingo Sunflower Shape Collections —or any time you need a 6 inch block.
More to come
Thank you for visiting. Stay tuned this week for more about NYB, including sample quilt layouts and an EQ5 Project File, okay?
CAUTION The special sale price expires soon, but the addiction to making these lasts a long, long time.
