There are two sizes of templates for Last Flowers, one of the designs in Millefiori Quilts 4 by Willyne Hammerstein. Print, cut, sew!
TWO NEW SHAPE COLLECTIONS
Willyne Hammerstein’s Last Flowers After a Hot Summer is one of my favorites from Millefiori Quilts 4.
Her sophisticated colors and fabric placement may make it hard for some of us to fully appreciate her charmingly simple layout.
It is easier to see the layout in only two . . .
. . . or three fabrics.
I had so much fun playing with this layout!
What a lot of possibilities!
Last Flowers After . . . Midnight?
There is great info about printing on dark fabric in the Top 10 Tutes (tab above).
Of course, this works very well with Inklingo No Waste Fussy Cutting.
Print 4 identical sheets of fabric to get sets of 4 identical shapes for No Waste Fussy Cutting.
There is a video showing how to use Inklingo for traditional Swiss Cheese Fussy Cutting too. (The video uses Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses as an example but it is the same for Last Flowers.)
TEMPLATES FOR LAST FLOWERS QUILT
I like this design so much that I created shape collections in TWO sizes.
Big or little. Little or big.
Do you need a little music to help you decide?
The Lovin’ Spoonful – Did You Ever Have to Make up Your Mind?
Monkey says, If you can`t decide, get both sizes! They are at a low intro price.
Millefiori Quilts 4 makes me want to quilt and dance.
The music for the new Fiesta Gitana shape collections is La Bamba.
For the new Confetti shape collection, it is Going to the Chapel from Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Of course, for the new You Are My Sunshine there was a perfect match.
Swinging Old Lady let me take a full swing with The Lady is a Tramp.
I included three “combo” layouts in each of these shapes collections, so you can print all the shapes for a star on one sheet of fabric. Oh, so easy!
All 4 Millefiori Quilts books are in stock on the Main Millefiori Page under the Shop tab.
Quilted Diamonds 2 is THE book if you are learning how to hand piece. It includes a two-hour lesson with me on DVD.
Start printing on fabric with the free shapes, if you haven`t already.
As usual, the new shapes are at a special LOW intro price for only about a week.
Thank you for visiting. Please stay tuned for the next shapes too.

It was fun listening to that one again. Thank you for visiting and for commenting!
Well we sure have our work cut out for us don’t we? I think these collections can keep us busy for many months. Just can’t put down those needles for sure.
Thank you for everything.
Almost all of the designs in Millefiori Quilts 4 have been requested, so there are even more shape collections to come. Please don`t feel overwhelmed. There will be something for everyone.
O Linda! I was a girl when those boys were boys!
Now I’ll go make up mah mind…
Hi Chingachgook! Me too. Music can really bring back the olden days—and a smile.
The Last Flowers twinkle! Makes me think (only seen pictures) of Night Blooming Cereus.
I wonder if that is what Willyne had in mind. It is a great design.
Last Flowers is irresistible!! I love the layout with the fussy cut fabric! That is so pretty that I think I may have to do something similar.
