This shape collection includes one shape, one size. There are other Clamshell shape collections available, so you can buy exactly what you need.

The clamshell is a classic quilt shape with endless design possibilities. Variations of this design appear in quilts from many eras, and it still inspires quilters today.

I was inspired by historic clamshell quilts in the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) collection in London, documented in well-known quilt history books.

Sewing with Inklingo is more fun because everything fits perfectly, presses well, and lies flat.

You can hand piece or machine piece the larger sizes.

The Clamshell 6-inch shapes are laid out to use fabric efficiently, and you can do at least some of the cutting with a rotary cutter.
