Live Inklingo Video 07 was long, so this clip (above) is just the few minutes where I introduced my new star design.
The shape collection is ready now!
Starlit Star 12 inch
It is available at a low intro price—but only for the first week.
This is big news for the quilters who requested a 2 inch 45° diamond.
It is called Starlit Star. Thank you for all the suggestions. It was not easy to choose from the names you sent when I announced this star design in a live video.
If you don’t have time to watch all of Live Inklingo Video 07 (over an hour!), the short clip at the top gives you a peek into the design process and explains how I draw the precision corners.
It also demonstrates this combo layout and pressing.
If this short clip makes you want to watch the rest, the Encore Presentation of the Seventh Live Inklingo Video is on the blog too.

I am considering other sizes and I love seeing your comments, so let me know what you think, okay?

Thank you, Renee! I am glad you like it.
Thank you, Kay. There is a huge amount of information on the website and the blog (especially the Top Ten Tutes) but if you have questions as you go along, please ask. I am happy to help you get started. linda@lindafranz.com.
The first thing I thought of was a quilt of valor. To me the name Double Duty Star could work. And, it can be used with any flag colors that have stars, or not, in the flag! Thought it was a nice play on words!
That is a nice idea, Jackie. It was published on the 21st as Starlit Star but this would have been a good name too. Thank you for the suggestion.
Hi Kathy,
Thank you! You keep me inspired all the time. I foresee you fussy cutting Starlit Stars. I would love to see photos.
It is very nice to know that you enjoy the videos, Louise! Thank you.
Monkey and I think the 9 inch size would be good too.
Oh, Cathi! I knew FOR SURE that you would be the first to ask for smaller sizes. LOL (I think it is a great idea too.)
The Starlit Star is a beautiful collection!!! Thank you so much. So many possibilities…my mind is spinning!!!
Kathy
Hey Linda,
Love the videos. It’s nice to listen to all the wonderful things you want to teach us. I really like the new star collection. Like Cathi, it would be nice to have a 9 inch size for that star.
Keep the video’s coming Linda because I will be watching.
Have a great day.
Louise
I love this collection – and the possibilities it presents for some fussy cutting/printing.
Of course, I would be thrilled if a collection of this came out based on a .75″ diamond or a 1″ diamond.
Also, it would be wonderful if a 9″ size of Starlit Star was available. I’m thinking that that size would work very nicely with the Inklingo Star collection.
