There are many variations you can make with the new Ribbon Flower shapes. This is just one example.
For this 12 inch block, print 7 sheets of fabric.
Shape B – The preparation goes fast when you can print 12 shapes at a time and rotary cut the fabric.

Freezer paper sheets can be used over and over again. The freezer paper sheet for 6 Shape C is used for the blue flowered fabric and the white background fabric.
Many of the designs look different when they are turned 90°. This is exactly the same as the first block.

This collection is mesmerizing! There are so many different looks one could get, even with the same set of fabrics, that it’s impossible not to want to sew them all just varying the placement of fabrics! I was immediately drawn to this design when the Smart Shoppers Idea Book came out so now it’s like Christmas in July, having this to play with!

Wow! It’s amazing how that extra little clamshell shape E added between the ribbons can make Ribbon Flower bloom into twice its fullness. It’s like an optical illusion! I had to go back and watch the video a few times to figure out how it looked so full!
