Curvy Hexie Stars – Part 1

Happy New Year!

I’m back!

I took a nice long break but now I’m back with 4 new shape collections.

I am bursting with news but I’ll keep this short.

Inklingo Curvy Hexie Star

Isn’t this a fabulous star?

Monkey calls it a Curvy Hexie Star, for good reason.

Curvy Hexie Star

This is the secret ingredient! One shape x 3 makes a hexie.

3 Curvy Hexies make a star!

Curvy Hexie Stars create some fabulous tessellated designs. This is just one of the worksheets in the new shape collections.

This shape is fun to print and rotary cut. . .

. . . and fun to sew by hand or by machine.

You have a choice of 4 sizes and the largest ones can be sewn by machine, if you prefer.

  1. Thank you very much for your order, Sue. Of course, you are right. The hardest part is finding exactly the right fabric, but that is fun too! I think you will love sewing these gentle curves.

  2. I’ve been wanting to make a fussy-cut quilt for some time. but haven’t found a pattern I cared to “fuss” with. The simplicity of Hexie Stars really appeals to my eye, and is just the vehicle with which to create an equally simple, but elegant quilt top. As usual, the hardest part will be finding just the right fabric.

  4. I’ve got to have this. I love hexies and this is really intriguing. Oh the possibilities. I do NOT need another collection but I can’t resist. Linda – you temptress – I promised myself I wouldn’t start anything new until I’d finished all my UFOs. Oh well – let the fun begin!

  5. I can’t wait to start playing with these shapes!! I was instantly captivated by the curvy hexie stars when you showed a glimpse of them on Facebook a few weeks ago, I’ve had all sorts of ideas, even pulled fabrics that might work for those ideas! So I’m going to be jumping in and playing with these right away!
