Happy New Year!
I’m back!
I took a nice long break but now I’m back with 4 new shape collections.
I am bursting with news but I’ll keep this short.
Isn’t this a fabulous star?
Monkey calls it a Curvy Hexie Star, for good reason.
This is the secret ingredient! One shape x 3 makes a hexie.
3 Curvy Hexies make a star!
Curvy Hexie Stars create some fabulous tessellated designs. This is just one of the worksheets in the new shape collections.
This shape is fun to print and rotary cut. . .
. . . and fun to sew by hand or by machine.
You have a choice of 4 sizes and the largest ones can be sewn by machine, if you prefer.
If you are new to Inklingo, there are step by step instructions and a new VIDEO on the Welcome to Inklingo page on the website.

I have so much more to say about these new shape collections, but after such a long absence I don’t want to shock you with a long article, so I’ll save the rest for next time, okay?

Thank you very much for your order, Sue. Of course, you are right. The hardest part is finding exactly the right fabric, but that is fun too! I think you will love sewing these gentle curves.
I’ve been wanting to make a fussy-cut quilt for some time. but haven’t found a pattern I cared to “fuss” with. The simplicity of Hexie Stars really appeals to my eye, and is just the vehicle with which to create an equally simple, but elegant quilt top. As usual, the hardest part will be finding just the right fabric.
Welcome back, Orlie! I am delighted with your reaction. I hope you are feeling great and ready to print and sew!
OMG !!! I have been out again due to pain so I am now catching up and I am in LOVE Again. You are so good at making the right patterns. I am glad I found you.
I’m glad you like it, Paula! Thank you for letting me know.
Wow! I love hexies and the curves add another dimension. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Jan, There are worksheets in the shape collection, so you could play with it until you find something you like.
I love it except for the border! The border very strange looking to me for some reason.
You spotted the tumbling blocks quickly, Erin.
Thank you, Carol!
Oooh, I see curved tumbling blocks! Oh, dear. Another possible scrap quilt in the making?
I’ve got to have this. I love hexies and this is really intriguing. Oh the possibilities. I do NOT need another collection but I can’t resist. Linda – you temptress – I promised myself I wouldn’t start anything new until I’d finished all my UFOs. Oh well – let the fun begin!
Thank you, Cathi. Sewing these very gentle curves is totally addicting.
I can’t wait to start playing with these shapes!! I was instantly captivated by the curvy hexie stars when you showed a glimpse of them on Facebook a few weeks ago, I’ve had all sorts of ideas, even pulled fabrics that might work for those ideas! So I’m going to be jumping in and playing with these right away!
