What a great find, This is the first time of seeing Inklingo or Lucy Boston.I do a lot of hand appliqué, but this will be a great way to do hand work, and the designing ,creative etc. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much! I chose to complete my New York Beauty collection. I love having so many choices of hand projects to carry along – so much easier than lugging the sewing machine everywhere! And my friends are so amazed at how quickly a complicated looking block can be hand pieced. Now, if they would just try it…Of course, then they wouldn’t think I was so clever and talented… I’ll just keep after them to try it.
Great video, Linda! I enjoy fussy cutting and am doing so with the Inklingo 1″ hexagon shape collection for a hand-pieced section of my brother’s birthday quilt. Having never English paper pieced, I cannot imagine how Inklingo is not completely and totally better in every way! Thanks so much!
I have always wondered how everyone got such unique looking blocks, fussy cutting was something I’ve not tried yet. Like I said yet, it’s on my to do list now…great tute! I’m someone who learns more visually, and this really helps! Thank you!
Bravo Linda. This tute is just the ticket for doing that fussy cutting that takes so much longer if you don’t use Inklingo. Plus, the designs will all be identical if the fabric is placed on the freezer paper correctly. Thanks again for another great video.
Thank you for showing in detail the whole fussy cutting thing. It is a lot easier than I had thought. One day I want to do something “fussy” but for now I enjoy seeing what others have done!
Linda – I loved your movie. It was so informative. Thank you for including some of my blocks too. I still have such a heap of fabric from my POTC blocks. I have completed 5 rows and am still working on them between my machine quilting. The POTC blocks were so wonderful to work on, especially the fussy cutting. I just couldn’t stop till I had all the blocks done…so much so that I added a complete row each side. The quilt will be enormous when it is completed – Don’t worry – you will be the first to hear about it. I do love Inklingo 🙂
Hi Melinda, The owl block is mine, but no doubt inspired by Kathy’s owls and dragonflies! I think you should be able to find something that will work perfectly for fussy cutting. If you fall in love with something, buy the bolt! LOL Fussy cutting does use a lot of fabric.
This is something I would really like to learn this next year. I have not been able to get the fussy cutting to work for me. Love the block with the owl. Is that Kathy’s block? Guess I need to look for some interesting fabric with not much background.
