A comment will win a $50 Inklingo Gift Certificate

The Quilt Pattern Magazine

We’re celebrating the “What is Inklingo” article in TQPM with a draw for a Gift Certificate for $50.

Cindy at TQPM wrote:

“It is in the October issue of the magazine which is only accessible to our subscribers.  They log into their account and view the issue via the flip page version.  They can also download the PDF version to save on their computer.  The article is listed in the “Table of Contents” [on page 3].  However, they will find it as they read the issue.”

It happens to start on page 50 and $50 buys a LOT of Inklingo, but even if you are not the lucky winner you can order and download the free shape collection for Diamond-Triangle-Square and start inklingoing in the next few minutes.

  1. I love Inklingo. I just got back from retreat and took one of my hand piecing projects and had several people come look to see what I was doing and ask for the site. Hopefully some more converts! Thanks for all the different shapes you have!

  2. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I haven’t started printing yet, my printer has been acting up, but will print out triangles soon, as soon as I fix the printer. Love this.

  5. I have heard about your Fun and Innovative business now for the last year. I even down loaded your free things but still have not tried anything as of yet. Finally because of Bonnie Hunter I have decided to do something about it. I have fresh ink in the Printer and am ready to go. Bring it on Bonnie and Inklingo! Patsy Pirnat

  6. Happy Thanksgiving, my kids now host Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter in turns, so I get to sew until it’s ready, lucky me. I’m working on Double Wedding Ring, and Stars, so shouldn’t really think about other patterns, but of course every time I visit your site I want everything! Helen T on Vancouver Island

  8. I am brand new to Inklingo having shunned hand stitching for years because it was slow and awkward for me. Now a whole new world has opened for me and I am tackling a Patchwork of the Crosses project. I would never have thought I could do that, let alone if be my first hand pieced project. I am smitten! Love Inklingo!!!

Look for another pattern coming up soon in TQPM using the free Leymoyne Star collection (I’m testing it and it is great!)

  10. Speaking from a person who owns several of your collections, those stars are just amazing and are at the top of my bucket list! Too many quilts to make and not enough time, it seems. Thanks for the chance to win the gift card!

  12. Inklingo is the best thing to happen to quilting, ever! I heard about it earlier this year and jumped in with both feet! I am doing the Lemoyne stars from the free set, and have just gotten started with my POTC. Unfinished projects? They’ll have to just wait : )

  16. I have been working on an EPP grandmothers flower garden for about 3 years, I am probably about 2/3 done. It is my “travel project” that I only work on when I am not at home. Wish I had known of Inklingo before starting it. Judy

  17. I love Inklingo, and I love reading your Blog, and using this product. I have to win a Lottery to buy everything I would love to buy.I know you have to make a profit, and you deserve it, but for me I would love to have gotten the whole set of Hexagons, but to buy each size I needed to do 4 projects, it cost to much for me. I bought the acy. templates instead. I will get them all some day, just takes a little longer, but that is the fun of it also. Thanks for creating Inklingo. Could you please bring back the retired CD collections. So many of us hadn’t heard o this before, so we missed them.

  19. what a great chance to find out for myself how this works. It sounds like a lot of the measuring and sewing lines will be right on the fabric for me. I will have to click on the free sample so I can test drive it. Hmm, I wonder if there is a Cathedral Window design already done? I have a new qult to make for someone that has mentioned loving the Cathedral Window pattern. Off to check that out now. Thanks for the chance to win, and to introducing your InkLingo through TQPM.

  20. OK Cathy you would be proud…I went to the dollar store and got some pretty boxes. Now my projects aren’t hidden in a closet. Spent last night doing ‘cheat sheets’ for some of my new fabrics. Yin Yang, Pickle Clam Shell, POTC, Kaleidoscope Stars…2 sizes plus using star points, Joseph Coat…oops I may not have gotten enough boxes. Now to cut the freezer paper.

  23. Thanks for the linkup to the magazine, I never heard of it before…
I am busy adapting patterns to make good use of the inklingo shape collections I already own. I HATE drawing that diagonal line across the squares to make no waste flying geese ( I am working on two quilts that each have 480 1.5 x 3 geese) I would love to win and buy some more shapes!!! Thanks Linda

  24. A fan for many years, I absolutely will NOT cut squares, draw a diagonal line down the middle and sew on each side , or attach the square to a larger square (for triangle corners), or make flying geese or…, or… or… without Inklingo. Let alone the ease of making (by machine) Feathered Stars, Pickle Dishes, New York Beauties – I could go on and on! Or if you like hand piecing of intricate patterns, you cannot go wrong with Inklingo- printed cutting lines, printed sewing lines, matching marks and crosshairs all add up to accurate piecing.

  25. Quilting had long been a dream for me. Inklingo has made my dream come true. I don’t have to worry about making accurate templates for Inklingo prints my patterns directly onto the fabric with the sewing line, matching marks and crosshairs for accuracy in starting and stopping. I don’t need to store a lot of tools because the patterns are on the computer and I can store more fabric instead. I can print out so many pieces at one time that I can sew for days or weeks. My fabrics pieces, needle, thread, and scissors are ready to take with me anywhere so my sewing is always ready to go. And because my sewing helps to relax me, Inklingo makes it possible for me to always have relaxation at my fingertips.

  26. I’m a starting quilter from Holland and I just love inklingo. I like to sew by hand while watching television at night, to relax after a hard day at work. Inklingo helps me to make perfect patchwork, eventhough I’m just a starter at Quilting. It is so much fun to sew one piece after another and it helps me to stay away from snacks at night…

  27. Well, I’m one of the people that can’t stop talking about Inklingo!! I discovered a free pattern on the net, a while back, and I had wanted to make a circle type block for ever. I hand pieced, and thought ….”I’ve found my passion!!!!” A short while later, I discovered Inklingo, and I’ve never looked back. I am amazed how I can produce these intricate patterns. As I’ve said before, Inklingo changed my life !! It truly is my passion!!! Thank You Linda
