Do I need a special printer or ink for Inklingo?

No special equipment is required. If you can print an email, you can use Inklingo.

Inklingo works with an ordinary inkjet printer and fabric ironed to freezer paper. Many quilters already have everything they need.

Printing is one of the easiest things you can do with a computer.

What does Inklingo actually print?

Inklingo prints the cutting lines, stitching lines, and matching marks for quilt shapes directly on the fabric.

The lines are ultra-fine, so they help with cutting and sewing, but do not show in the finished quilt.

Because the shapes are printed accurately with correct straight grain, everything fits beautifully.

Does it use more fabric?

No. You can print exactly the shapes you need, without waste.

In the Inklingo Quilt Studio print screen, a pink selection box lets you choose the shapes to print. Just drag the corner to select the area you need.

This Custom Size feature reduces or eliminates waste.

Is this for sewing by hand or by machine?

Inklingo works beautifully for both hand piecing and machine piecing.

The printed stitching lines are especially helpful for hand piecing, and the accurate cutting lines make machine piecing fast and precise.

What do quilters say when they first see Inklingo?

Many quilters say the same thing:

“I wish I had tried this sooner.”

“It prints the shapes right on the fabric.”

Once you see the shapes printed on fabric, the advantages become clear.
