LEFT CLICK AND CHOOSE "SAVE" (NOT "OPEN")

Many quilters confuse the right and left mouse button. After years of requiring the RIGHT click to download, I have found a way to make it simpler AND to let you know when there is a newer version for you.

NEW!!!  LEFT-CLICK! This is the normal click we use most of the time.

IMPORTANT From now on, whenever you see instructions requiring you to RIGHT-click to download Inklingo, please LEFT-click instead.  If you right-click by mistake, you will be reminded about this change.

IT IS THIS SIMPLE

1. Save on your hard drive.
2. Open in Adobe Reader (not another PDF viewer).

STEP-BY-STEP

MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF!

A.  Print this page for reference. PRINTER FRIENDLY 

B.  Set up Adobe Reader.
Before you start, open Adobe Reader and go to Edit > Preferences > JavaScript and un-check “Enable global security policy” (Mac users: Adobe Reader > Preferences > JavaScript). Click OK.

MAC USERS  Inklingo works perfectly on Mac. 

However, Inklingo WILL NOT open in Mac Preview.  
Please download and install Adobe Reader. 

C. Create a folder on your computer for Inklingo, so you can find the downloads later. 

Now you are ready to Log in, Download and Activate.

1. LOG IN

Go to http://www.lindafranz.com > Quilter Log In (top right of window).
Enter the email address and password you created when you placed the order. No extra characters or spaces, before or after (no < or >), please!

2. DOWNLOAD

When you are logged in, you can see a list of the shape collections you have ordered. Do one at a time. 

LEFT-click on a file. Choose "Save" (not "Open"). Remember where you put it.

The download will only take a couple of minutes on cable. For downloading on dial-up, there are tips in the FAQ.

IMPORTANT FOR SAFARI USERS 
Drag/move the document from the download folder to the document folder.

3. ACTIVATE ONLINE

Please note: Once you ACTIVATE a file, there are no refunds.  (License Agreement) 

Open Adobe Reader > File > Open > and click on the file.

IMPORTANT FOR MAC USERS  Drag the document onto the Adobe Reader application icon to make sure Mac Preview does not try to open it instead. 

The file will open with a covering page. You must be connected to the Internet, and when asked, allow a connection to a remote server. While you are connected to the Internet, enter your e-mail address and password. Click Login.

There will be a pop-up message indicating that the file has been unlocked. The cover page is still there, but you can scroll past it to see everything. Play with View and Bookmarks and have a look around.

200 DAYS AT A TIME!

You can use Inklingo any time, even when you are not online.

Every 200 days, you will be asked to enter your email address and password. This step was added so you will be alerted if there is a newer version. There is no expiration date on the downloads, so you do not need to re-order, just log in every 200 days.
