I am not always interested in “faster” just for faster’s sake, but “faster AND better” is worthwhile!

The close-up handpiecing makes this such a fantastic incentive to those reluctant to handpiece.
I have never sewn hexagons but it appears that they would be like popcorn; difficult to stop after one bite. After watching your movie, why would anyone want to paper piece; Inklingo is so much faster and more fun!

Great movie, yet again, Linda (with credits to Monkey as appropriate!)! I have noticed that hand piecing – and GFG as the archetype for same – is being mentioned frequently in several current quilting platforms; The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims for one (Episode 1111), and Beth Hayes’ “From The Editor” in McCall’s Quilting magazine (Jan/Feb 2013) for another. This is a perfect time, it seams (sic), to do everything we all can to promote Inklingo as a greatly preferred, 21st Century technicnological upgrade which will make the hand piecing fun, fast, and freeing (from all those little papers!).
One idea: print a couple of 8.5×11 hexagon sheets, and armed with these and some already cut out pieces and some already pieced flowers, go to your favorite quilt shop or guild meeting and show folks how quick and fun the piecing can be. Refer those interested to the Inklingo website and/or offer to teach a class for the shop. This may be easier than we might think; Linda has some great resources (which I am just discovering) to help us promote Inklingo.
I plan to get everything together and present Inklingo to my local shop in time for its post-holiday season class schedule. I’ll let you know how it goes. ;)>
I used to enjoy English Paper Piecing… ah, how misguided I was. Inklingo is so much more fun and relaxing and fast and accurate! No chance of seeing the thread either.
This is a great movie! I feel like I’ve just sewn a hexagon flower. Your photography is unmatched. I really feel like I’ve been sewing. I should put this on a loop as I work at my desk (lol!) 🙂

Great little movie. I always love your fabric choices and watching you sew and inspire us. I want to print some hex’s and have a little travel kit. The eye glass case is a great idea and it will fit in my purse for some quick sewing.
