300 Pieced Hexagons – New Size!

Inklingo Pieced Hexagons

Pieced Hexagons! We love them, don’t we?

<drum roll> There’s a new size today!

Several quilters requested 7/8 inch hexagons and diamonds. We listen.

7/8 inch = 0.875 inch

All of the designs I am showing today can be made in several sizes, using matching sizes of diamonds (and parts) and hexagons (and parts).

If the diamonds and hexagons are the same size, they fit!

  • Use 0.5 inch 60º Diamonds and 60º Hexagons together.
  • Use 0.75 inch 60º Diamonds and 60º Hexagons together.
  • USE NEW 0.875 inch 60º Diamonds and 60º Hexagons together.
  • Use 1 inch 60º Diamonds and 60º Hexagons together.
  • etc.

No basting, no measuring. Just print, cut and sew.

Easy, portable, fast!

You can see how we sew these shapes with a running stitch in the videos on the Main Hexagon Page.

A running stitch is the easiest, most precise, most portable method but if you prefer English Paper Piecing (EPP), there are 8 Good Ways to Use Inklingo for that too.

FACEBOOK VS THE BLOG—ARE YOU SUBSCRIBED?

I post a photo or two almost every day on Facebook.

You do NOT have to have a Facebook account to see what I post there if you go directly to
https://www.facebook.com/inklingo

However, Facebook only shows my photos to about 20% of the quilters who have “liked” the Inklingo Facebook Page, so the best way to stay up to date is to subscribe to the blog (top of right sidebar).

If you are on Facebook, please “like” and “comment” and “share” my photos. It makes it more fun for everyone.

INTRO SALE PRICE

The new shape collections are at a low intro price for a limited time only. $25 is a great value but Monkey says $20 is amazing!

  1. Thank you so very much for the 7/8 hexagon! Now I don’t have to do it with English paper piecing. I guess thats why I never started the quilt I dreaded the fact dealing with all thoes papers!

  2. Yea! More diamonds and hexagons – diamonds are, after all, a quilter’s/girl’s best friend, as are hexagons. It’s going to be fun to make a few little stars quickly — with some fussy printing/cutting, of course!
