Description

The Clamshell Pickle 9-inch design is so unusual that Barbara Brackman called it “Unknown Pattern” on the Material Culture blog. Of course, Inklingo quilters asked for it right away! They knew they could get wonderful results if they had Inklingo’s precise stitching lines and matching marks.

Sew by hand with “continuous stitching” while you relax in front of the TV. Then you can machine piece the rest, so you can finish fast!

fussy cut clamshell with Inklingo

There are wonderful opportunities for fussy cutting with TWO Inklingo methods and you can get perfect points (above). The cutting and sewing are simpler with the fine, precise lines printed on the fabric.

Optional Combo Layout for Clamshell Pickle 9 inch

I designed the layouts to use fabric efficiently, so you can do most of the cutting with a rotary cutter. You can choose regular and combo layouts.

Love the lines. Quilt more!

Relax and sew! Spend your time stitching, not getting ready to stitch. Print the cutting and stitching lines on scraps from your stash.

When I saw this design mentioned in a blog as an unusual and unknown pattern, I knew the only way to make this would be with Inklingo. The design collection was ready in an amazingly short time.

  2. FLORINE M in BREA (verified owner)

The 9 inch Clamshell Pickle Pattern done with InkLingo is an absolute delight! I am using the hybrid method of machine and hand piecing to make my quilt called “Clammed Up With Pickled Joy.” It is going together quite smoothly.
