You asked for more sizes of Starry Path.

We listened!

Starry Path 8 inch blocksStarry Path 9 inch blocks

New shape collections are ready for Starry Path 8 inch and Starry Path 9 inch.

They work very well in settings with other Inklingo 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 inch blocks.

Sew Starry Path blocks by machine.

These are especially quick and easy by machine.

  1. Print on fabric (or on paper). The variety of layouts (including combos) make it easy.
  2. Cut on the lines!(Why I don’t sell acrylic templates.)
  3. Sew!

The precision corners and easy sewing sequence (no insets!) make this design especially easy. I think most quilters chain piece by machine but this design also offers opportunities for “continuous stitching” by hand if you need a portable project.

Fussy Cut Starry Path

Fussy Cut
These blocks are so fast to sew that you can take some extra time to fussy cut and still finish in a hurry.

I think that is one of the (many) reasons Starry Path has been so popular. Everyone loves fussy cutting and it is even more fun when you can get immediate results by machine.

TWO methods of Fussy Cutting

Inklingo precision corners

As you would expect, there are precision corners on the shapes to make everything as easy as possible, whether you trim the dog ears or not.

Inklingo is all about making quilting more accessible.

Introduction to Inklingo

I always recommend starting with the FREE Diamond Triangle Square shape collection.

When you have printed the free shapes and browsed the first chapter of The Inklingo Handbook, you will be ready for ANY shapes, including the new Starry Path.

  1. Hello Linda,

Thank you for your kind words. Here the sidewalks are so full of ice it’s terrible. The city tries to put salt but it’s a crazy winter. I know it’s the same in your part of Ontario. That is just awful, having to clean mud like that! But sometimes to keep everyone safe there is no other choice right? My wrist is starting to get better a day at a time. My head is always in the process of making the Starry Path. Can’t wait to get started. 30 cm of snow here in Montreal today, it’s bad outside beurk.
    Have a good day

    • I think we got less than 10 cm but all of the trees are coated with ice this morning. We aren’t going anywhere! Tomorrow will be a safer day to travel. I hope your wrist heals enough to sew soon, Louise.

  2. Hello Linda,

You did it again, thank you for the new sizes for the starry path. I can cut or sew this week. I hurt my wrist, fell outside on an ice patch, not broken but needs rest.

So for now I am limited to reading, ( I enjoy just as much as sewing). I can type with my left hand its hard but I get it done.

Have a great day and back to sewing very soon I hope.

    • Oh, Louise. I am sorry about your fall! It has been terribly dangerous here with icy sidewalks. We ran out of salt, so I spread garden soil on our sidewalk and now everyone is tracking it into the house. LOL I’m wasting too much time mopping actual DIRT off the floors. I hope your wrist heals quickly and you will be sewing again soon.
