Inklingo says stay inside and enter!

Every branch in the woods was painted white overnight. We finally have some snow! Until now, we have only had a few flurries, but this is the real thing. Doesn’t it look pretty?

Unfortunately there are flash freeze warnings and major traffic problems. We are lucky to be able to stay cosy at home, at least until this afternoon.

Monkey jumped into his snowsuit and scarf, but I don’t think he’s going anywhere.

He’s going to have to admire the scene from inside.

Silent protest.

I’ll distract him with chocolate and some Inklingo shapes, and by reminding you to enter Maria Peagler’s Facebook draw for wonderful prizes.

The prizes are great! Even if you stay inside, like us, you can enter. If you’ve already entered, you can enter again and again. All the details are in my previous message.

If you haven’t tried Inklingo yet, download free triangles, diamonds, and squares  here!

If I can catch a photo of the cardinals on the bird feeders, I’ll let you know.

  1. Good Heavens. I have never seen Monkey when he wasn’t nekid. Please Monkey, say it isn’t so…say you haven’t thrown in the towel and succumbed to polite society.
Please continue to be the rebel I know and love. And is HerSelf is working on your book rather than common as dirt facebook?

  2. How peaceful your pics look. No snow in Tx but it is cold outdoors. Hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday. You have blessed all of us in so many ways.

  3. I’m jealous. Monkey has a better wardrobe than I do. *Love* his snowsuit.
We got snow last night too – a big deal in a southern state like Georgia. My boys are home from school because of 1″ of snow (no snowplows and we live in the mountains), so life is good here.
Great suggestion to stay inside and enter the contest!
