Design with Inklingo in Electric Quilt!

We have some exciting news!

Monkey and I have been interviewed again by Penny McMorris for the EQ Newsletter!

Penny has been one of my quilting heroines from the beginning. She interviewed me in the olden days about Quilted Diamonds (2002), when I was just starting out. (Everything before Inklingo is “the olden days” at our house.)

<drum roll>

This time, we made an announcement about an INKLINGO CONTEST!

“Love the lines. Quilt more!”

That’s the name of the contest. Maybe LTL for short? LOL

The “Official Rules” will be published before Christmas and the contest will run from January 1 to February 14.

In the meantime, all you need is EQ6 or EQ7 and a love of quilting. No purchase necessary.

Monkey wants you to be ready to start on January 1st, so he shares some tips in the interview.

January will be a special month on the All About Inklingo blog. It will concentrate on tips and lessons for designing with Inklingo shapes in EQ6 and EQ7.

Monkey with some of the Northcott prize fabric—aka “cotton that feels like silk.”

PRIZES!!! PRIZES!!! PRIZES!!!

There are generous prizes from Northcott Fabric, Electric Quilt, and Inklingo. You can read all about them in the interview.

The prizes are fantastic, but we think that everyone wins because the contest is set up like Barb Vlack’s ClubEQ Challenges. You can see what I mean in the interview! CLICK

If you are familiar with Barb’s Challenges, you will recognize the similarities.

Thank you, Penny and EQ Mouse!

Thank you, Patti Carey at Northcott!

Thank you, Barb Vlack, an inspiring EQ guru!

I hope you will subscribe to the blog so you don’t miss anything. There’s a thingy in the right sidebar for that. (“Get every new entry.”)

Go! Go! Go! Read all about the contest here.

Thank you for visiting. Exciting days ahead, eh?

  1. Sounds like an incredible opportunity to play with two great quilting products EQ and Inklingo. I will look forward to seeing some of the designs in the future. I have my strengths and designing isn’t one of them but I am a great “enjoy-er and appreciate-er” LOL

  3. Hi I wonder if this is an international challenge? I would love to play along even if it´s not an international one, I live in Iceland and have EQ5-6 and need to get working on EQ6, I did take a class with Fran G at http://www.quiltuniversity.com so I have some knowledge of EQ6 and I did take several classes for EQ5 at “that” time LOL
