There are two sizes of templates for Last Flowers, one of the designs in Millefiori Quilts 4 by Willyne Hammerstein. Print, cut, sew!
TWO NEW SHAPE COLLECTIONS
Willyne Hammerstein’s Last Flowers After a Hot Summer is one of my favorites from Millefiori Quilts 4.
Her sophisticated colors and fabric placement may make it hard for some of us to fully appreciate her charmingly simple layout.
It is easier to see the layout in only two . . .
. . . or three fabrics.
I had so much fun playing with this layout!
What a lot of possibilities!
Last Flowers After . . . Midnight?
There is great info about printing on dark fabric in the Top 10 Tutes (tab above).
Of course, this works very well with Inklingo No Waste Fussy Cutting.
Print 4 identical sheets of fabric to get sets of 4 identical shapes for No Waste Fussy Cutting.
There is a video showing how to use Inklingo for traditional Swiss Cheese Fussy Cutting too. (The video uses Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses as an example but it is the same for Last Flowers.)
TEMPLATES FOR LAST FLOWERS QUILT
I like this design so much that I created shape collections in TWO sizes.
Big or little. Little or big.
Do you need a little music to help you decide?
Monkey says, If you can`t decide, get both sizes! They are at a low intro price.
Millefiori Quilts 4 makes me want to quilt and dance.
For the new Confetti shape collection, it is Going to the Chapel from Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Of course, for the new You Are My Sunshine there was a perfect match.
I included three “combo” layouts in each of these shapes collections, so you can print all the shapes for a star on one sheet of fabric. Oh, so easy!
All 4 Millefiori Quilts books are in stock on the Main Millefiori Page under the Shop tab.
Quilted Diamonds 2 is THE book if you are learning how to hand piece. It includes a two-hour lesson with me on DVD.
Start printing on fabric with the free shapes, if you haven`t already.
As usual, the new shapes are at a special LOW intro price for only about a week.
Thank you for visiting. Please stay tuned for the next shapes too.
