Drunkard’s Path Quilts

I decided against titles like “Let’s Get Drunk” and “Over the Legal Limit” because it might attract the wrong kind of attention.

On the other hand, I think you will be intoxicated by the possibilities of 4 simple Inklingo shapes, and the new Inklingo Drunkard’s Path Design Book (203 pages, free for a limited time).

This message is for quilters!

Beginner to expert. No matter what your tipple.

There are at least 4 intoxicating things about Drunkard’s Path with Inklingo!

1. Exciting Designs

There are more than 100 quilt layouts in the new Drunkard’s Path Design Book to get your creative juices flowing.

Some of them don’t look like a traditional Drunkard’s Path.

One size, unlimited possibilities!

Some use two sizes.

Some use three sizes.

Hint from Monkey: If you like the designs with three sizes, get the 2,4, and 6 inch Inklingo shape collections.

Need some moonshine?

Dozens of border possibilities too!

The worksheets and detailed design notes will help you create your own unique quilt. I forced myself to stop—at about 125 layouts! You can discover the rest.

2. Cut along a line!

Print the shapes on fabric with your ordinary Inkjet printer and an Inklingo PDF.

Inklingo is

  • better than acrylic templates
  • better than a die cutter

and it costs a fraction at only $25 (or $20 if you order by August 30).

Costs less, does more!

Not only does Inklingo cost less, it does more, because each shape has matching marks and seam lines printed on the fabric to make the sewing easier!

There is no reason for an expensive machine when you have a perfect, precise cutting line on the fabric itself.

Think how much more fabric you can buy!

The Drunkard’s Path Design Book gives a great tip for cutting curves with a rotary cutter. It is even faster and easier than cutting with scissors, but if you need a portable project, Inklingo lets you cut with scissors instead.

3. Sew along the lines!

Cut along the lines, pin at the matches, sew by machine along the lines. Of course, you can hand piece if you need a portable project.

Curves have never been easier. Instructions in the design book make it great for beginners too.

4. Simple to decide how much fabric!

There are diagrams in the Inklingo Catalogue of Shapes for each size and that makes it sooo simple to decide how much fabric you need that you can probably do it during the cocktail hour—if that’s your thing.

5. Your choice of SIX sizes.

Inklingo shape collections are so inexpensive, that you can buy THREE different sizes for the price of one set of dies (without even considering the cost of the machine), and get four shapes in each size instead of two!

How can the prices be so low? Inklingo doesn’t spend hundreds of thousands on advertising. When quilters tell their friends what they like, all of the benefits go to quilters! (Affiliate Program)

Since the Drunkard’s Path Design Book is free (until we come to our senses), most quilters will want to order and download it first, and decide on sizes after they have looked at the comparisons and seen the layouts.

Go here next! It’s the main Drunkard’s Path page on the website    It has links to everything.

If you know anyone, anywhere, who might want to make a Drunkard’s Path some day, let them know now—while the sale is on and the design book is free. They will thank you.

Drunkard’s Path is a design for everyone now!

Here’s to Happy Inklingo Quilters!

I think it’s time for a toast, don’t you?

Mine’s a decaf with low-fat chocolate milk and one Splenda, please. Cheers!

Love the lines! Quilt more!
