300 Pieced Hexagons Print Checklist

There is a pretty, new Inklingo Print Checklist for you (below).

However, the first thing on Monkey’s Checklist is to remind you that the low sale price on the new shape collections ends at midnight tonight.

My Checklist says this is a good time to show you some of the cool Pieced Hexagons you can sew with the new shapes.

Inklingo 300 Pieced Hexagons

You can make dozens of designs with the new 0.875 inch 60º Diamonds and 60º Hexagons.

These little beauties use both shape collections.

Hexagons and diamonds are always named by the length of the sides (finished).

(7/8 inch = 0.875 inch)

When you print the shapes on fabric with Inklingo, everything is easier.

All of these Pieced Hexagons can be made larger or smaller, using matching sizes of diamonds (and parts) and hexagons (and parts).

300 Pieced Hexagons VIDEO

You can make at least 300 Pieced Hexies with just 8 Inklingo shapes!

The choices are summarized in 300 Pieced Hexagons under the Shop & Goodies tab on the website. (You are on the blog now.)

Inklingo makes it easy because everything is named with the finished size. One-inch shapes fit one-inch shapes, and so on.

These use ANY Inklingo 60° diamonds and 60° hexagons together, both the same size.

If you use the new 0.875 inch hexagons and diamonds (7/8 inch), each side of the Pieced Hexagon is 1.75 inch and they measure 3.5 inches across the middle from point to point.

All of the 60° shapes are listed in several places on the website, especially under the Shop & Freebies tab:

Inklingo 60° Diamond and 60° Hexagon shape collections include the partial shapes too, so they are even more versatile!

Each of these use “quarter diamonds” (aka triangles) in the center to make this fabulous little star.

A running stitch is the easiest, most precise, most portable method but if you prefer English Paper Piecing (EPP), there are 8 Good Ways to Use Inklingo for that too.

FACEBOOK VS THE BLOG—ARE YOU SUBSCRIBED?

I post a photo or two almost every day on Facebook.

You do NOT have to have a Facebook account to see what I post there if you go directly to
https://www.facebook.com/inklingo

However, Facebook only shows my photos to about 20% of the quilters who have “liked” the Inklingo Facebook Page, so the best way to stay up to date is to subscribe to the blog (top of right sidebar).

If you are on Facebook, please “like” and “comment” and “share” my photos. It makes it more fun for everyone.
