Inklingo Ribbon Flower Quilts – Part 2

Inklingo Ribbon Flower

Happy Canada Day!

I finished a RED Ribbon Flower today to mark the occasion.

This is Canada’s version of the 4th of July with BBQs, fireworks, parades and festivals.

This year is extra special because we’re celebrating 150 years.

1867 – 2017

My mother’s family has been in Canada since the 1700s and my Dad emigrated from Austria as a little boy in 1930. That’s typical of Canadian families.

.

I think about Inklingo quilters all over the world while I sew outside breathing fresh Canadian air.

There are already quilters printing and sewing the new Ribbon Flower shapes in England, Russia, South Africa, Brazil . . . and the USA of course!

Friends.

No matter where we live, we have more in common than we have differences.

Friends are staying in touch more and more on Facebook but if you aren’t there, the next best thing is to subscribe here (top of right side-bar).

Happy Canada Day!

It is a great day for sewing Ribbon Flower outside with the chipmunks. I hope you have a kind thought for Canadian friends while you are sewing today.

  4. Yes, Barb. TimBits. How about a Dairy Queen chocolate milk shake? It rates pretty highly and I think you have them in Texas too. Amazing on a hot July day. Thank you very much for your order!
