COTSIM Mystery Quilt Clue #6

COTSIM sunshine in Key West

It was a good clue when we told you the yellow/tequila fabric also represents sunshine in Key West!

As you can see, the blocks are arranged to create a burst of sunshine in Margaritaville.

COTSIM coral reef

The pink represents the coral reefs around the island.

COTSIM palm or pine trees in Key West

The green represents the palm and pine trees growing on the beach in Key West.

COTSIM sea and sky in Key West

Of course, the blue represents the sea and sky.

You can see how these all fit together when you assemble the quilt top in Clue #6.

Case of the Stranger in Margaritaville Mystery Quilt

Tequila, sea, sand, palm trees and coral reefs. It’s been a great trip.

Agatha Christie brings together all the suspects and explains the solution to the mystery in the last chapter. I wish we could all meet in Key West for this final clue but listening to Jimmy Buffett is a nice consolation.

I hope you enjoyed our imaginary tropical trip in the sunshine. Please share your quilt tops on the Inklingo Facebook page!

  2. I’m listening to Jimmy right now as I look at the PDF with the reveal… it’s beautiful! I love what all the colors represent, and I can’t wait to see the fabric choices from the finished mystery from everyone on Facebook!

    Great mystery! Congratulations!

  3. This was fun! I got my blocks done, and was playing with the layout, but i never solved the case! Even with asking for help from others we couldn’t solve the mystery. This is my first inklingo quilt, but not my last. Thank you.

  4. Not having all my blocks finished, I played with the paper ones. Twist and turn, I got pieces and parts right, but the mystery was yours. With the wind howling and yowling today, with intermittent rain, Margaritaville is the place to be! Can’t wait to finish it.
